What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is the world’s oldest holistic medical science and originated in Asia over 5000 years ago. Ayurveda is still widely practiced today. “Ayu” means “Life” and “Veda” means “Science”. Together, the Sanskrit term Ayurveda means the “the Science of Life”. Ayurveda is an inclusive tradition and a way of living that can help each of us reclaim our capacity for health and wellness.
What is the purpose of the study group?
Our goal is to co-create an educational video program with guidebook and workbook to help support individuals with MS. This inaugural group is invited free, in return for your commitment for punctual, consistent attendance and participation. We feel the discovery of Ayurveda science can help enhance your quality of life and that of others seeking this knowledge and wisdom.

Who are your instructors?
Jaisri Lambert, Ayurveda Doctor (NAMA) has over 30 years of experience in clinical Ayurveda in both Canada and the USA. She trained extensive with Vaidya Vasant D. Lad, B.A.M. & S., MA.Sc., among others. Jaisri has additional professional background in education, Polarity Therapy, counseling and meditation. She has written numerous articles which can be found on her website, https://ayurveda-seminars.com/, and is the founder of the Canada Ayurveda and Research and Education (C.A.R.E) Foundation.
Micheline Wong, BScPT, MHSc, BSc (Nutrition) is a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) from Vancouver, B.C, Canada. She combines both eastern and western approaches to health and rehabilitation. In clinical practice for over 17 years, Micheline is a manual therapist who treats orthopaedic and neurological patients. She has completed Ayurvedic training from the Maharishi International University (MIU) and has mentored with Jaisri Lambert since 2014. Her website is:
